Thank you very, very much!” Well we at QA are delighted to say he is part of our team of adjusters.
Mike graduated in 2010 from the U of Winnipeg with his BA in Criminology and Sociology. Through a family connection of his then girlfriend and now wife Robyn, he was encouraged to consider adjusting. He accepted the challenge and started work with J.P. Hamilton Adjusters here in Winnipeg.
One of the challenges of working in a small office is you have to do everything but Mike took this as an opportunity and very quickly acquired a solid knowledge base on the coverage afforded by policies as he developed his claims handling and personal skills. This combination lead to his handling Residential Property claims, Commercial Property claims, Liability claims and Commercial Cargo claims.
He continues to handle these categories of claims since he joined QA in 2014.
Mike is a natural fit with the skills needed to be an adjuster. He also is a quick learner, appreciates being mentored and is on a quest to further his education not only through Insurance Institute courses as he works toward his CIP designation but also with any training opportunity in skills that are adaptable to his claims career.
He is Xactimate trained and HAAG Certified (roofing expertise).
An admitted car guy, he brings experience in mechanics to the handling of automobile, marine and off road vehicle claims.
An active participant, he is already involved in CIAA, CAFI, The Blue Goose International and has an executive position with the Manitoba Insurance Adjuster Association.
We at QA are delighted Mike is furthering his now chosen career as an adjuster as part of our team.
