Graduating from the U of Manitoba, he dabbled in lumber retail before finding his spot as a junior adjuster with a national insurer. His 8 years there exposed him to an incredible array of claims. He repositioned as Claims Manager with Northern Union and remained there until its’ demise. The opportunity to work with the receiver, Dunwoody delayed his venture into independent adjusting in 1983 with Winnipeg’s Christianson McMaster Adjusters. With senior adjusters retiring, he became a partner to what became CM Adjusters. Recruited in 1997, a national firm purchased CM and Russ became the Branch Manager – Manitoba. Further acquisition made his position redundant and he happily struck out on his own establishing QA Adjusting Company in 2000.

Stepping out of partnership in 2013, Russ remains with QA as a Control Adjuster on hospital liability matters. His experience makes him a natural fit as our Consultant Adjuster with special assignments in marketing and public relations.

He also enjoys arbitration and mediation opportunities.

Exceptionally proud of having established QA, he is delighted to maintain a working connection to the firm. He is pleased the firm is growing under new management and appreciates the opportunity to contribute to decision making as a consultant.
